The Nudist Beach of Cantarriján already has its maritime beaconing

Since the middle of the same week, the nudist beach of Cantarriján has a line of yellow buoys that point to its protected bathing area. And in it, it is forbidden to sail or motor and anchoring is prohibited.

Balizar Cantarriján, has been one of the main issues demanded by our association, moving the request to the Commonwealth of Municipalities of the Costa Tropical and personally to its previous President, Sergio García Alabarce, who finally fulfilled his commitment and today, finally, the proposal is already a reality.

Perhaps a larger number of buoys would have been more suitable, but from AAPNC we are satisfied with the beaconing.

On 20 January 2015, the Governing Council of Andalusia approved the declaration of the Natural Park of the Maro-Cerro Gordo Cliffs as a Special Conservation Zone (ZEC) and the Natural Resources Management Plan of the aforementioned space.

In point 6.4.6. the Natural Resources Management Plan of the aforementioned Natural Site establishes the actions related to the permitted and prohibited maritime navigation.

We remember that it will be free to do:

– Sailing with boats from 200m on the beaches and 50m on the rest of the coast, from the shoreline to sea.

– Access from the sea to beaches, coves or cliffs with boats without motor, without prejudice to the provisions of the current sectoral regulations.

– Anchoring and permanence of the boats within the free anchoring areas that are established, from ortho to sunset.

– Navigation, access from the sea to beaches, coves or cliffs, access from the beaches to the sea and anchorage and permanence adrift of any type of boat linked to the administration in the development of its functions for the management of the Natural Site, as well as other vessels in emergency situations.

And it is forbidden:

– Sports or recreational navigation, navigation for fishing purposes and the presence of any type of motor boat, nautical motorbikes, motorized floating or beach artifacts, self-propelled recreational nautical devices and trawling devices, less than 200 m from the shoreline in beach areas and less than 50 m in the rest of the coast.

– Access from the sea to beaches, cliffs and coves with motor boats.

– Anchoring and permanence of boats outside the free anchorage areas and within those areas from sunset to ortho.

The free anchoring area for sports boats corresponds to the red mark that can be seen on the map.

If you browse the area, remember this data to avoid problems with the Maritime Civil Guard Service.
